8 weeks is a good age, so 10 weeks is not to early.. The earlier the better!! Good luck, and remember it is a puppy, and like a child they will "act out" just be patient and have fun with the training.

Its never too early to teach a puppy tricks the younger the puppy the better you will train them and they will start to learn a lot ...By the time they are a little older they will start doing amazing tricks...

Of course not. You can start teaching your puppy basic obedience now as well as tricks. The earlier you start the better behaved he will be. You'll be able to prevent bad habits rather than try to fix them later.
Find a puppy kindergarten class in your area, these are great to show you how to work with your puppy, socialization, and they can help you out with any problems you might be having as well.

It is never too early, just don't expect too much of your pup.
At eight weeks, my dog had lay down and sit mastered, and the next week he learned paw. We took a break for a couple weeks because he just wasn't interested but now he has learned up (jumping on command) and is in the process of learning come which seems to be a big challenge for our dog lol. We haven't put him in obedience school yet because of our own work hours, but we plan to do that as well and then look into agility training just because he needs that energy outlet!
So trust your instincts and the signs your pup is giving you.... if training is involving more sighs of frustration then praise, then it might be too early. Then again, your pup might just be stubborn, like mine is with coming when we call him.

I think you can start that early. What you are dealing with at that age is attention span. At 10 weeks, you can start with some basic commands like sit and stay to see how the puppy assimilates the training.

no its never too early to teach your puppy tricks, i got my puppy at 6 weeks and I taught him his name and to come. about 7 weeks i started the basic training. He knows how to sit, stay, shake, roll over, play dead, flip a treat off his nose. I never taken him to training classes I just worked with him constantly, and if he/shes energetic i would walk and play first then train. I wish you the best of luck!

No you can teach them many things at 10 weeks old. Sit, shake paw. Lay down, come when called, and just about anything else simple.
Just dont do it for too long a period of time. They have short attention spans at 10 weeks old. OK

10 weeks is not too early, but start with things like sit and heel. Useful stuff first, then tricks.

Check in with a vet or obedience school. If you're planning on taking obedience classes then see when the earliset age is that dogs are allowed. Obedience classes where the dogs get to play around in the beggining are great because it socializes the dog. It's never too early to get a dog socialized!

At 8 weeks old my Pomeranian was sitting, staying, coming when called, spinning, sitting pretty and peeing/pooing on command. Their brains are sponges! Be patient and start training right away! By 12 weeks my Pom knew 17 different commands.. find something that motivates them and always give lots of praise!! Good luck :)
