has anyone in R&S been hit on by another R&S participant? it's actually happened to me...just once...the weird thing is, it was by someone who vehemently disagreed with me about just about everything! i've been married 17 years and it's the first time THAT's ever happened...made me feel a little creepy, actually! has this happened to others? how did you handle it?

Yeh, a few times, mostly by email. A few of my pals do it jokingly and I know its a joke so it doesn't bother me. On the few occasions it's happened and it's been for real, I've given them the cold shoulder. I find if you don't respond, they get the hint pretty quick. I also once posted a question similar to yours after receiving a flirty email and it got the point across super fast :)
The most irritating thing, is that the majority of times it happened, was when guys had read the profile info I use to have on my Y!A profile. I clearly stated on my profile that I was engaged and they still hit on me, which made me cranky. Few people have any respect for relationships anymore >:(
So either politely say "Thanks but no thanks", or ignore them. If it persists, block em.

No, and I hope that never happens. I'll bet that is a creepy feeling. I've been married 24 years, and I would never even think of disrespecting God or my husband in any kind of way.

God Bless You, Spike.

Does this include the one who was condemning me to hell in the same breath?? I have gotten it alot. I just ignore it unless It is one of my contacts and I know they are just kidding around. They eventually get the message if you just be polite but dont respond to the overtures. With the exceptions of the *real* nutcases
Oh and I am kinda gullible so if they are being "slick" it takes me a bit to grasp what is really happening...

LOL...no.... either I intimidate people with my strong beliefs, or, they look at my testimonials and probably think "that poor woman....let's humor her, but, don't get too close!" :)

LOL if not that, it's simply that a 52 year old mom of 4 and grandmother of 11 is just not their cup of tea! :)

In your case...well, you do realize that from the sandbox on, it's the girl or boy constantly sniping at or hitting the other that is in "love" with the other...LOL I guess your admirer thinks you get cuter when you argue! :)

Good luck with that!

It shouldn't make you feel creepy..just flattered. BUT they shouldn't if they know you're married. Alas, no, never happened to me, but am glad...(married 20 yrs.).

Well, I didn't want to say anything.......but in 40 years I have a wedding date with someone on here. We're trying to keep it quiet though. ;)

EDIT: I suppose I could give you just a *tiny* hint though. His initials on here are BB. And he likes trees........little tiny ones.........like bonsai's. LOL
