Not all cats hate water, just most of them. All of my cats have loved seafood. It would be very different of coarse if cats had to catch their own seafood, then I doubt that they would even want too. I've never seen a cat go fishing in the ocean. lol!!

Cats don't necessarily hate water, they just hate getting their fur wet. My black cat loves to play with water, he just hates getting a bath.
Cats eat lots of other things beside seafood; however, the harder something is for them to get, the better they like it. Which do you prefer, oatmeal or steak? Nuff said.

Cats will put their paws in water to try to catch fish--they just don't want to get their entire coats wet. They have very sensitive noses and like stinky, stinky food, and seafood sure fits the bill.

Seafood, contrary to popular belief, isn't normally part of a cat's diet. I'm not sure how that myth got started....

But of course many cats do love fishy foods. My two don't.

As you may - or may not - know, cats were used for centuries on ships going to India and America to chase rodents (mice and rats), they most probably were fed the leftover of fish (the parts that we don't eat, the insides, liver, etc.). Cats were very important to traders of the sea to help save the food. I believe that today's cats have a common memory of taste for fish and seafoods. =0)

Fish tastes stable yet they do no longer prefer to get moist, that's a worry cleansing up after the water messes up their fur. there's a breed of cat that likes to swim and spends somewhat some time interior the water. take a glance at this internet site.

My cat loves tuna and also loves to take showers with me , a couple of months ago she got up on the edge of the tub between the two curtains while I was in the shower and she fell in so now every time I am in the shower she is too.
