No, there's not a correlation between weight and skin color. Diabetes sometimes results in darkening of the skin on the body's extremities (hands, feet) due to excessive insulin build-up in the bloodstream there. I don't know if that applies to you or not. If you're unhappy with your skin color just avoid sunlight for a while and you'll be lighter after a month or so. But I'd personally be more concerned about having become overweight.

The weight gain will not change your skin. I gained weight before and my skin was exactly the same.

Gaining weight won't darken your skin, unless you are sitting out in the sun during the time you are gaining weight.

the only parts that will get darker when you gain weight are
the skin folds like your neck, armpits, inner thighs, etc.
because excess skin rubs against surrounding skin which
cause skin darkening due to friction.

Weight has nothing to do with your skin, but, it could be something you're eating, or the sun.

It shouldn't have any effect on your skin. Have you been eating a lot of carrots? That can turn you orange. Have you been going to a tanning salon? That will also do it.

Micheal Jackson was skinny and his skin got lighter.
Ya getting heavier can change your skin color.
That a fact.
