Ok I was advised to add some water to tomato paste in order to get tomato sauce, but how much water do I add? I have a 6 oz. can of tomato paste. Thanks!

tomato sauce 15oz can = 6oz can of tomato paste + 1-cup water

I wouldn't add plain old water. I would add a can of chicken/veggie stock and let it reduce until it has a nice consistency.

depend on how thick you want it is something you can only decide start slow and add and stir til it looks like what you want

Add it slowly and stir it until it is the thickness you want. you don't have to be a slave to measurements.
