I have tried EVERYTHING in my power to lose 20-30 lbs with months at a time. I am a Vegan. I exercise like crazy. But for some reason, I am still gaining weight! Right now, I'm currently on a diet.... The Vegan Model Diet. But this diet just isn't cutting it for me. NO diet has! Does anyone know a real good diet or trick to where I can lose 20-30 lbs in 1 month?

xoxo

Have you tried cutting out your salt intake? It's well known that salt causes water retention. I would imagine that if you're a vegan, you might be adding lots of salt to your diet.

That's one thing to try. Drink lots of water. I found that drinking lots of green tea (with nothing added) helps too. The tea supposedly helps you metabolize, and the water will help drain your excess sodium (salt) content

Cut out sugar, reduce carbs, as the excess converts to fat also.

Eat 6 small meals a day, preferralbly in 3 hour intervals. Doing this ups your metabolism so that your body is working, even when you're not.

I see that you're excercising, but change up your routine if you haven't already. Do weight training in addition to your cardio. Weight training burns calories even after the workout, unlike cardio, where the calories you burn are burnt only during the workout.

I myself managed to lose 30 lbs in a 6 week period by cutting out salt, sugar, and excercising, so I know for a fact this works better than any fad diet. The bottom line is to make sure your body is burning more calories than you are consuming. If you follow that, there's no way you can fail.

Good luck!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

first you need to set a realistic goal as it does not take one month to gain 30 pounds. elite athletes do not even lose weight at such a high rate. 10-12 weeks is a more reasonable time frame depending on your current body fat level.

to lose 30 lbs of fat it would cost about 40-45 lbs +/- of total bodyweight

i'm not really sure if you can lose 30 lbs in one month.
if you did though it would have to be the unhealthy way.
get off the vegan model diet if it isn't working and do it on your own.
you could maybe try pilates.
i've heard people have gotten great results from it.

My cardio-kickboxing teacher said to try to cut bread out of your diet and you should start to see results with your exercising.

It's called the starvation diet, and you consume 900 or less calories a day. Highly effective.

Get on your knees and pray. Then do it the healthy way and lose 1-2lbs a week. Good luck!

loosing that much weight within a months time is extremely unhealthy, i think you should learn to love the body you have, exercising is good thing, but you should do it empower yourself, not just to loose weight
