In the not-too-distant future autonomous microrobots will be plentiful and cheap. Robotic mosquitos will fly into ears and detonate. Swarms of robotic ants will attack us in our sleep. How will we be able to protect ourselves from terrorists wielding these killer micro-robots?

Your fear is well justified. I have thought a lot about this too and I'm writing them into a novel.
Everyone is at risk especially Politicians and assassination targets. It's the organic/polymer Nanosquitos that give me the creeps as they can't be detected by scanners.
But don't worry about Terrorists using them on you. They are too expensive. Unless you are very important.

That may not stop Skynet, but it should slow it down for a few years.

Mutually assured destruction! Hit their silos or in this case factories first! Use anti-swarm to counteract their attack! They have a bacterium that was designed to eat oil spills. If this were spread over any nation and it managed to reproduce all of their petroleum based products and supplies would be consumed! Of course when it reaches our shore what happens when we are exposed to the same threat?

Take your mediacations as prescribed. If you missed a dose, do not double up. Just begin taking the pills when you normally take them. This should protect you well.

Get a strong net and wrap it around your whole body to keep them out. Put 3 layers of net around your rear end so the gaybots don't get you...
