I want to go snowboarding but I live in Sacramento.. can anyone tell me if its snowing or snowy on the mountains nearby?

not enough to snowboard on. They have been getting dusted with snow in october. but nothing is sticking. The rain storm happening today, may be bring 2-4 inches above 7500 feet. however, day time high sunday is still in the 40s to 50s...to warm to make anything stay.
most resorts won't really have anything open until usually thanksgiving. it has been way too warm. we are in for another warm-up this week in the bay area. Will be 70-ish by mid week. and if you live in Sac, you might be able to see it from there.

Not yet its kind late this year, my son is waiting too, I live by mt Lassen .
