I've heard that there are some churches (Unitarian) that accept atheists. Even though I am atheist I do not feel a need to socialize once a week with other atheists in a formal setting. I have a couple of atheist friends and a couple in my family, and the rest are christians. I just live my life the best way I can, like most people do. Actually I live in a highly conservative, religious area in my state. I never even thought about joining a club--it would probably be burned down.

Atheists do not all conform to the same set of values and codes. They have many differing interests and ways of viewing the world. Therefore an atheist could find enjoyment from any number of things but wouldn't necessarily feel the need to have an "atheist club" or church or anything of that sort.
Religions on the other hand all have a common belief in a deity and one set of values/morals that they get from one source.

This'll do me - I don't feel the NEED to be seen to be an atheist in the real world - I don't feel the need to belong to a club to validate my NON belief in invisible sky swooping thingies.
In my real world religion hardly exists - but then again I'm an Aussie in Oz and not a USian in USA.

There are atheist organizations out there, but I have no idea if they're any good since I've never been to one.

We are intelligent enough that we don't need the support of others that believe as we do, therefore we can go anywhere and enjoy most any situation, unlike you or other christians, whose life choices are severly limited.

No. We find it possible to get along with most everyone and don't need exclusive little clubs.
