I had a dream where I broke by.... gums? And I woke up, and it hurt in the same place, and I swear I tasted blood.

no, your dreams cannot physically hurt you. What you experienced was a physical injury or pain, then your brain interpreted it as a dream, then you woke up.

I don't think dreams can hurt you, but they can be an indication. Perhaps you need to see a dentist.

Now last night, I was dreaming about Tibet, and the phone rang and there was a guy who said he was from some company called Everest, I was still in my dream so I said from where? He said Everest, do you want a new kitchen, door, or windows? God, I was so spaced out but I realised that was not Tibet just a salesman. Things are weird sometimes.

I had a dream where I broke my thumb and when I woke up my thumb was blue and so sore I couldn't move it. I think dreams can hurt you physically if you believe that what you dream is real. I can't tell myself in my dream that I'm dreaming, because it feels so real that I believe it. I also cry in my dreams and when I wake up I am still crying it takes a emotional toll on me sometimes!

Well I hope my answer helps!.

i would say no dreams can't hurt you in real life. but the effect after a dream might if you really believe the dream will happen or something. i had a dream about an animal one time and sometimes i still smell what i smelt in the dream..but more than 5 years later i haven't been attacked by the animal yet...lol

Your dreams could manifest into physical pain if you end up doing something to yourself without knowing it while you are dreaming... like if you are dreaming that someone is sitting on your arm, in reality, you could be laying on your arm which is causing that sensation.
I do believe that your dreams/nightmares could cause a psychological affect that effect the rest of your day. Like a terrible nightmare which causes you to wake up in a bad mood.

Yes they can...if you actively act out your dreams (i.e. sleepwalking, punching when you dream you are fighting, etc.) Not sure if you may have knocked your teeth on something like a bed-side table or remote left in the bed, but those are possibilities that could happen to me in my room. But if you are asking for a supernatural explination, I don't have one. Hope you don't get hurt again!

Yes, having a bad dream can hurt you, if having a bad one, you may lash out and fall out of bed, causing some injury, or unknowing to you, grind your teeth, causing tooth problems, It's a stress issue. When your awake you can handle things. but when sleeping, thats when the body can react,

Dreams are only in your mind. The possibility of dreams hurting you are irrational.

I dreamed I was crying and when I woke up my face was wet. Turns out I had been crying in my sleep.

Odd.
