The love of my life lives across town in a house that my alimony paid for, probably having sex with a man that decided to become a doctor of medicine rather than philosophy. Give up? She divorced me.

Religion isn't to blame for it, I am.

It's God. He dooesn't want you to get attached to this person. He knows everything, and is omnipotent, so you had better be careful if you drive there to see the love of your life. God doesn't have any religion. He's multi- theistic. The only trouble with that is that in His Buddist incarnation He never learned to drive. And He's not American. America didn't exist when He decided to look up such distant relationships. In those days the world was much smaller and lovers were always close to one another. But, God Bless You.

The religion of geography. Quit trying to find someone/thing else to blame for your problems.

Instead of blaming, why don't you thank God that the love of your life lives within driving distance, rather than 2,000 miles away!

You should blame the Christian God, since, after all, everyone says that God made everything and everyone...right? So why didn't he make the two of you closer? You could blame any and all gods or religions for this, however, it would be folly to do so, since there is no god (in my opinion) and even if there is, there is no reason to blame a deity or religion for anything. The above statements regarding Christianity were merely sarcasm, so if anyone is offended by it, get a sense of humor....

The love of my life lives more than 4500 km away... and the religion to blame? My own. I fell in love with him, and I have to suffer every day because he is not with me.
