Civil_av8tr makes a very succinct point. Totally agree Iwannarevolt must surely be joking. Immigration fees are intended to do no more than pay for the costs expended by the US government in processing immigration applications. As a legal immigrant I do not object to paying those fees. BTW, no-one said anything about American culture being better than anyone else's. Personally, I think my culture (Scottish) has much to commend it but I also enjoy many aspects of life in the USA. The asker was merely asking for views on spending money for the benefit of illegal immigrants to solve a problem caused by those immigrants. It is illegal to work in this country if one is not here legally. So what the center would do is encourage criminal acts. One could just as easily advance the argument that drug dealers should be provided with a center so that they can peddle drugs away from schools and street corners. You know, they wanted to do this in a town in New Jersey. They had the building and were all ready to renovate it. Now, NJ is a tolerant state, very strong on supporting individuals and letting people get on with their lives. Well, the local population were in uproar over the plans and it was swiftly ditched. If a place like NJ can act like that, what does that tell you?

While it is a crime that must be dealt with harshly by the law, there is no leniency for rape crimes,
Why did you pick that case and not the case of Rowan Ford, 9 years old from Cassville Missouri, That was raped and murdered by her stepfather,David Spears 25, and his friend Chris Colling 32, the stepfathers friend.

or the case of the disappearance of Kathleen Savio, who feared her husband and told people That if she died, It would look like an accident, but it won't be. The suspect 4Th wife Stacy Pearson body is being exhumed, because of suspected foul play, she also died of an accident.
Drew Pearson in Joliet Illinois," the suspect" is a police officer.

About someone-
Are you inferring it is OK to rape and murder a 9 year old because he did it in his own country, That is sick.
Using the anti's own rant, a criminal is a criminal, period.

It's frigging sad. Fed pens hold over 300,000 or 27% and estimates another 300,000 in state jails. Now let's do the math, if 15 million her and 600,000 *in jails then what % are caught criminals?
Now that means in fed pen that 700,000+- American of 300 million, correlate and you come up with 1 in 50 illegals end up in fed pens vs 1 in 1,300 legal people.
Poor lady. Is Cal a "right to carry" state. Cause every state that allows you to tote a gun has drops in crime. Evil one afraid of being shot in the .......
Take care.

Sure, some will spout off that non-Spanish speakers commit crimes, too, so let me get ahead of them: Those who do not respect the culture, language and most of all, the LAWS of the United States should NOT be here! Let them commit these crimes in their own countries and be dealt with at their expense.
The juxtaposition of personalities is fitting, isn't it? They who (for the most part) respect law and extend sympathies own new Benz's. Those who steal them crawl through doggy doors to rape women 2.5 times their own age.
Crime begets poverty. Respect begets wealth. Simple, really.
...
Oh, look! Lil' Sweaty below did just what I predicted and posted a link to a story about a person who does NOT speak Spanish!!!! Wow! Other people commit crimes, too! Surprise, lil' sweaty one! We KNEWWWWW THAT!!!!! Okay?
But didn't he do it in his own country? The nation and system of laws that both created the monster and must pay to deal with him? Wake UP!!!!

I know there are a certain percentage of criminals in EVERY population. That's terrible that that happened. Do we know if he was a legal or illegal immigrant or a citizen? Does day laborer really mean he was illegal?

Hiring day laborers may save you $$ and cost you a lot of suffering in the long run. I wonder if this woman hired him or if her landlord did. If so, his savings cost her peace of mind for the rest of her life.

Those that hire day labors, are putting their own life's at risk, as well as those around them. I know that some who support the illegals say that there are bad apples in all people, but if we had secured our borders we would only to deal with our own homegrown criminals

ALL day laborer sites should be shut down. If there are not jobs for these criminals, they will self deport!
