How come black women have really nice figures?

I'm black myself but my friend wanted me to ask a question on yahoo .


I notice alot of black and latinos have very nice figures.

their figures are like that hour glass shaped, everything correct everything in the right place blacks and latinos legs tend to be longer, butts bigger, have smaller waists,etc.

even when they are fat they breast tends to be bigger and their butts larger when they are skinny they still have curves (you know like jessica alba but with a booty and breast)

yeah there are a few black american women who don't have this body type but i recently went to Nigeria and EVERY woman there had a nice body like omg

anyways my real question is why do alot men prefer woman who have "the hour glass figure"? is there any other man out there who likes flat chested girls or girls with short stocky legs?

and why do black and latino women have such nice curves!"

i haven't seen a non white or latin person with the type of curves i'm talking about not one in person yet ( don't worry i see alot of ppl of different races go by i go to manhattan to shop every now and then i live in ny)

and not even angelina jolie is all white she has filipino in her and they don't have the curves that i'm talking about!

The hourglass shape is desirable to most men, but people mistake hourglass as meaning "big boobs and big butt" Hourglass is a shape, not a size, a woman of any size or weight is an hourglass is she is proportioned right. I only weigh about 105 lbs, but if you look at actual measurements, I'm pretty close to having a hourglass shape.

It seems black and hispanic women are often larger in size proportionally than white women, and that is what the men of that race prefer. Meaning they still have hourglass proportions, just a bit larger size than most white women. White women have a tendency to be thinner or smaller, but that doesn't mean they are less likely to be hourglass shaped. Think of the difference between a slender hourglass and a thicker hourglass. Both hourglasses, just different sizes.
Likewise, white men generally prefer a slimmer body type than most black or hispanic men, cuz white women have a tendency to be more slim and lean. I know that's not taking into account white men who like black women or whatever differing combinations, but honestly, most people are most physically attracted to people of their own race. So it just makes sense that they would find the characteristics of their own race most attractive.

So really "nice" is a subjective term, what's "nice" to you may not be the preference of someone else. I just don't like it when people misuse the word hourglass or curvy, it's based mostly on the ratio of your hips to your waist, and there are women from size 0 to size 24 who have an hourglass shape.

And btw, you must not live in the U.S.
So many women here are just plain overweight no matter what their race.

I am not an expert in this field. But, I feel I have enough structured biology background and have read a few things that apply on my own to give you a plausible explanation. Do be wary that my response uses common sense, which has pitfalls.

It is proven in studies that we socially gravitate to the people that are healthy and look like they would be the best physical speciment to breed with. We do it unconsciously.

However, we aren't animals. Well, we are but we are different. Most intelligent people, instead of using their eyes, subjugate their instincts and use our (hearts and) minds to determine the best mate. Yes, although pretty people are proven to have better choices available throughout life-- we have thumbed our noses en masse at natural selection where the not great looking really funny guy can beat out the stereotypical captain of the football team. Animals do not choose based on social interaction.

As to one race having more or less shapely women depends mostly where you are and who you associate with. I have seen a good number of unnattractive heifers(cows) that were black and latino. Where I grew up the only good looking women were white. That is because I lived in the sticks and we just didn't have black people around. Now that I am in a more urban setting, I see plenty of attractive women that are all kinds of skin tones. But, I don't feel one race or another has the market cornered on "hotness".

My girlfriend hasn't had an hourglass shape since the first few weeks when we started dating years ago. I would like to believe that I know what a good looking woman looks like. I have new appreciation for large breasts, she is the first girlfriend that had relatively perfect breasts. Up until her, I was very happy with whatever came attached to the girl I was with. I have only seen in person one set of breasts that were unnattractive. So, according to me plenty of hotties in all different colors and most having attractive itty-bittie titties (A-C cup). Just because they aren't huge doesn't make a pair of breasts bad. Some of the best women I have seen had B cup breasts.

I hope that is scientific enough. The most interesting study that I have read is the one where attractiveness is studied on the basis of left to right body symmetry in humans.

Take what I say with a grain of salt. There are verified correllations on body shape and subjective attractiveness. There is also a correllation between lighters and lung cancer. I highly doubt the lighters are the cause of the lung cancer.

The figure a woman has, has nothing to do with the race she is! That is a fact! And you also have to remember that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder!" Having said those few words, let me share this wit you! I like a woman with soft skin no matter the color, about 5'8", around 120-140lbs, bright eyes, a sweet soul, and a bright mind! Lol ummm maybe you should come visit the bay area and think again. Over half the black women are at least 70 to 100 pounds over weight, and most the Latino women are the same. I see all types of women with the hour glass figure to be honest. Maybe you should look again sorry Hun! I'm only part Spanish and have the shape you are talking about. Also there are some men who would prefer small breasts over big ones.

I initially wasn't going to answer this question, but after reading some of your replies, I just have to say this is an ignorant, immature and stereotypical question, and all of you people that responded negatively about Blacks and Latinas are feeding into the ignorance. Ask yourself "Did I just help anyone by making a derogatory comment about big breasts, being overweight or having "nappy hair? or did I just add a little more poison to a poisonous question?"

Don't know, not all of them do. I'm black, and I'm skinny, just had a baby, but I'm losing my weight, I have a small booty, and very small hips, not all curvy.My boobs are big though, I can say that..lol. I always wondered why most black girls have big boobs...Also, I spoke with a Nigerian girl last night from my church. and she's small like me..so not all of them are big, but ya I know what you're saying, a lot of them usually have a big booty and nice long legs..etc.

It actually has to do with psychology..what men look for. There is the id, the ego, and the super ego. The Id is the most primitive part of the brain "limbic system" and we pretty much have no control over it. So when a man is looking for a women he's probably unknownly looking for someone who looks like they would have good genes. The primary thing that men look for are, breasts, hips, youth, and health. And it sounds like black and latino women have it all.

This is a racially charged question, and you're looking to pick a fight. Frankly, the amount of african-american women who have NICE figures is no greater than that of other races. Just having a giant butt does NOT mean you have a great figure. Giant breasts aren't really that attractive either.

You use terms like "why do they have such nice curves", as if it reallly was a fact! It's a stereotype. I know plenty of pasty-white women with lots of curves and fabulous hourglass figures.

Latinas and African-American women don't have any monopoly on good figures, that's just a pop-culture myth.

Sweet Heart, Your looking at this way to much. Guys Just like women!!! Some like big ,some like small,some like black, some like white. But Most Guys just Like to look at most all women. LOL
