Why is everyone so convinced there is only "one truth"? 1000 years worth of Christian worldview drilled into humanities head and THIS is what we end up with.
There is no One True God. I don't give a damn what the Christiand and Muslims say. Since the dawn of time cultures have accepted other cultures gods and religions as true until the Jews, Christians and Muslims came along. All the sudden in only the last 2000 years (which is a blink in time) there can only be ONE truth? Says who?

Pugwash, why are you disregarding all of the passages in the Koran that say that God's name is Allah, and that Muhammad is his greatest prophet? And why do you insist on using the New Testament, even though it only applies to Christian doctrine?

The one that is obedient.
There IS only one God.
He has standards and rules.
The true religion obeys them.
(Matthew 23:9) Moreover, do not call anyone YOUR father on earth, for one is YOUR Father, the heavenly One.

This scripture alone cancels the RC church and most of the protestant churches.
'
The true religion preaches the KINGDOM of Matt. 6; 9,10

It follows the example of Jesus...
(Acts 5:42) And every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.

(Acts 20:20) while I did not hold back from telling YOU any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching YOU publicly and from house to house.

What group does this?

The true religion uses God's NAME.

(Exodus 6:3) And I used to appear to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as God Almighty, but as respects my name Jehovah I did not make myself known to them.

(John 17:6) “I have made your name manifest to the men you gave me out of the world. They were yours, and you gave them to me, and they have observed your word.
They know that Jesus is NOT god himself, but his son/
(John 5:19) Therefore, in answer, Jesus went on to say to them: “Most truly I say to YOU, The Son cannot do a single thing of his own initiative, but only what he beholds the Father doing. For whatever things that One does, these things the Son also does in like manner.

The TRUE religion is clearly identified. Not just because they claim to be, but because they comply with all the scriptures.

Religion is not of God.

Joh 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
