There are three people in this world I would give my life for without question: My daughter, grandson and significant other. What kind of love warrants this type of dedication? Unconditional love.

You don't need love, think of all the police, firefighters, armed forces personnel who put their lives on the line everyday.
There is a reason though, it's a sense of duty combined with a compassion that a lot of people find hard to understand.

Certain people, definitely. My dad, my kids (who are all adults), my grandchildren, most kids, and people I know.
I think I would give my life to save someone else...like knock them out of the way of a bus or something. I think I would, but it's never come up so I'm not sure.

It all depends on your level of compassion towards other people. I put my life on the line for total strangers everyday without question, because I am in the field of fire/ems.
