I can't believe that time has moved on so much that people have never heard of "The Tube", possibly the best C4 show ever...

I must be so old that now I can admit to owning a Betamax video recorder, still have some tapes of "A passion For Angling"(1985 or so??) and once owned a Phillips V2000 video recorder.

Oh, and when I was a kid I used to love "The Old Grey Whistle Test" on BBC2 when I could get away with watching it.

No, you have me beaten there! That is some collection. I've been clearing out my VHS collection. Some of the films I have I'll never watch again, others I've bought on DVD or copied onto disk. The rest I've converted over. I realised when going through the tapes that a lot of what I once wanted is no longer to my taste.

Don't worry guys, I'm old enough to remember the Tube *and* the old Grey Whistle Test :) I've got episodes of Star Trek Next Generation taped off the TV from about 15 years ago!

Sadly I lost about half my VHS collection, but I've still got every episode of M*A*S*H (started taping it before the series ended), amongst other things.
