I think mothers who place their children in any type of competitive beauty pageant are doing nothing but emphasizing the importance of looking better than everyone else and winning all the time. They're damaging them. And those photos don't even look like real children. Maybe we should all sell our souls and get plastic body parts. Gah.

That is so sick! I want to smack the parents of pageant kids, they are doing so much damage it is unimaginable! From low self esteem to only finding worth in how they look these girls are heading down a path of anti-depressants and psychologists. As for those pictures well I know other places where that much air brushing is used and it is called PLAYBOY!

I think beauty pageants for little girls are sick. Period. Why anyone would want to parade their children around in adult clothing and makeup so that complete strangers can decide which of the kids is the best-looking is completely beyond me.

That's just sad. My daughter is right next to me(she's 9) and she even said that's really strange and creepy. I have no idea why a parent would want to make their child look fake. Their true beauty is when they look real.

I think it's horrible that you would force your young daughter to be in a beauty pageant, but the scary eyes are too much. I consider pageants child abuse.

I think it should be illegal for a child in a pageant to wear make-up. Kids are cute enough without making them look like little prostitutes!!

Creepy. Would never do that to my kids! Kids are beautiful naturally-they don't need all that make-up and fake stuff...what on earth does that say to our kids? "Wow, honey your pretty but with this, you will be gorgeous?" Girls need to be cherished for having a beautiful intelligent mind, not just as objects.....that really irritates me!

These look like something a pedophile would jack off to.
Natural beauties? The before pics are so much more beautiful and natural.

That is pretty bad. Those poor girls are going to grow up having self esteem issues. I've never believed in beauty pagents to begin with.
