I play some videogames liek counter-striek and etc. How do you reload a fire weapon.

How do you get the magazine out? is there a button to press... or what .

2nd Q : Do you always need to pull back the bolt (cock it )
PS: In the movies, the good guy eventualyl catches up with the bad guy who has a hostage or something. And then the good guy tells the mean guy to drop his gun. Then ( heres what i want to know a bout) , he cocks back his gun , he charges the bolt back.

Is it only to show he's more serious? Is it just a hollywood thing or is there a performance purpose?

Super682003 has it right except that many people hate it when others call magazines clips, so I guess he gets the tumb down for that.

There's a lot of minor variations in how madazines are removed and how the slide is released. Most pistols have a magazine release button under the thumb of a right handed person. Some use a lever and a very few use a bottom mounted catch. Rifles use buttons operated by a finger of the right hand, or catches operated by the thumb of the left hand.

Some people will always pull back the slide to chamber a round but it's comparitively slow and adds a risk of following the slide down and causing a jam. I tend to use the slide release, this is typically under the right thumb on pistols. Learning to rely on a two handed operation makes folks slow to handle having a disabled arm due to battle damage or even position or the need to hold something else. A very few rifles don't have a slide release, the Ruger 10/22 is one example. Semi/full auto rifles typically have a bolt release, on the M16/AR15 this is on the left side of the magazine well so you drop the bolt as soon as you lock in the new magazine. It would be very awkward to release the bolt on the M16 by pulling back the charging handle. Some submachineguns fire from the open bolt, so the trigger holds the bolt back.

2nd is a Hollywood thing, if you were in a fight you'd have your gun ready to go.

To reload a pistol just insert a loaded magazine an pull back the slide and that chambers a round, your ready to fire the weapon. Yes there is a button to press to release the magazine....

Rifle - insert magazine or round, push bolt forward then your ready to fire the weapon, you have a bolt action rifle, semi auto or full auto..... in the movies they always make everything more dramatic.... but once you you insert the magazine into the weapon you have to charge the bolt back then forward.... just once, this chambers the round.... no need to do it again.....

I'm not sure what you're talking about, but if you're talking about guns, here's how.

If you're loading a revolver, you either open the cylinder on a double action revolver, or the loading gate on a single action revolver and load the cartridges into the cylinder and shut the cylinder or the loading gate.

Semi-automatic rifles and pistols use a clip that you put the cartridges into and you put it in the gun and you pull the slide back and release to chamber a round.

Pump action and lever action long guns use a tube magazine that you load the cartridges into and then you pump the gun or cycle the lever to chamber a round.

Bolt Action long guns use a clip either inside the gun or a clip that detaches that you load your cartridges into and then you push the bolt forward and lock it to chamber a round.

for a pistol you have to press the lever at the bottom of the hand piece forward so that the bracket barrel will slide out and you reload from there.
