I've been talking to a guy for just about two months now, and I really like him and I know that he really likes me. But He has an issue with our age difference. Hes 15 years older than me. It doesn't bother me, but I'm not sure he can get over it. Whats the chances he will?

This is a tough question, there are times when it does not matter but other times when it may get to you or him.

I know with me that happened I fell for a women much older than I by 20 years and many times I was blinded by love but there were other times when it did matter and ended up coming between us to the point of us going our own ways.

So there is like a struggle there if that can be overcame then everything should be cool.

If you are under the legal limit (whatever that is where you live) then he, in all likelyhood, will not, because he has probably gotten used to NOT BEING in JAIL!

However, provided this is not the case, in time he may get over the age issue.
Some things you can do to help this happen are;

Make sure your conversations do not become age oriented
(latest groups,trendy slang, etc.) otherwise he may come to feel "dated" when he's around you.

Mutual interests and common ground that is non age specific, would be good.

Try to keep any activities or outings you might share together in a realm of non specific age (hiking, parks, beaches, etc.)

Age is simply a number in terms of maturity. There are probably more older people who are imature than younger ones, in the realm of thought and realization. Improve your chances by helping him see this and feel younger as well.

Good luck

I don't think that you are too young for him as long as you are not under 18. there are some women who were 15 to 20 years older than their husband. I don't think age matter as long as the love is there.

Give him time, with enough time with you he'll see that it's fine. Assuming you're an adult.
