I can't wait for the coming episode of NOVA- Judgement Day, about the Kitzmiller vs. Dover trial. I like to call it the Dover Panda Trial. It sent the creationists/ID gang packing and the judge is a Bush appointee!

That's what you get for having an ad-free TV station in a capitalist country. If the government taxed every American just $0.25 a year for PBS, there would be no need for these fundraising campaigns.

they have to beg for contributions because the federal government is cheap and will not allocate more funds to them.
PBS might as well be a church in the aspect your showing.
they basically are preaching to us (their pledge drives) and begging for us to call in with our monetary donations.

No. It's just Public Broadcasting, not a church.

In life, you find many individuals, businesses and organizations that want your money. That doesn't make them all churches.

Nova more than makes up for the pledge drives and the historical dramas.
