It is often difficult to spot a false teacher / false prophet. That is what a “wolf in sheep’s clothing” is all about. Satan and his demons masquerade as “angels of light” and his ministers masquerade as servants of righteousness (2 Corinthians 11:15). Only by being thoroughly familiar with the truth will we be able to recognize a counterfeit.

Yes, Satan's main tool is deception. And no, because I do not believe there was ever any angel Moroni.
They claim Rev 14:6 refers to Moroni.
According to Mormons, when angel Moroni appeard to Joseph Smith, it was in direct fulfillment of this prophecy.

So you actually admit that Joseph Smith saw an angel, and found the gold plates and translated them into what is now the Book of Mormon (Which testifies of Christ every 1.7 verses and reinforces the Bible), but you claim that Satan brought this about? I ask why Satan would want to bring about something that brings us closer to God and Christ?

Lucifer, or satan as he is known today, may try to transform himself into an angel of light, but his true nature will always come through.
