Should I make apple-pie, pumpkin-pie, or banana bread for Thanksgiving? My mom is catering the food, and she needs help with the cooking and planning. I am just as good a cook as my mother because I had my best friend sample my banana bread and he LOVED IT!! So he said to me with a skinny, yet rough finger in my face, "Thanksgiving is coming up and I want a fat loaf!" That was my mother's recipe, by the way. Which one should I make though? So much good food, only one day. Shame... It should last 2 days with all that meat and good stuff.
I'm hungry, now. Who wants homemade tuna?

Just make a couple of each pie and a couple of loaves of banana bread so people can choose which dessert they want to eat or so that they can have a little bit of each.

Make the traditional pumpkin pie and then the banana bread. Banana bread can be eaten all the time, not just during the holidays. It won't go bad and your friend will be happy!
