I am a 5'5'', 13 years old male and I weight 153 Pounds however I don't look fat,I look chunky and have a large body frame..


If I am how can I change my diet and lose weight.

You're considered overweight by the BMI thingy but it's probably only "chunkyness" If you're really are large-boned.

Yes!!!, my time to use my "future aspiring wanna-be-nutritionist" skills... =P

If you wanna shape up....follow these guidelines:

1.) Skip the sodas, fruit juices, etc. And start drinking water and skim milk only. You could also try vitamin water.(greatest invention ever)

2.) Stay away from fast food, junk food, stuff like that. Fattening, greasy, fried foods are GROSS! Yes, that means no more pizza and french fries.

3.) Snack Ideas:

Fruit( try bananas, strawberries, cantaloupe, whatever kind you like)
Whole wheat crackers( E.G. Wheat Thins with low fat cheese slices, or whole grain tortilla chips dipped in salsa)
Cereals like Raisin Bran, Grape Nuts, Wheaties, etc.(they taste yummy with sliced fruit & skim milk too!!!)

4.) Make it a family change:

Encourage your mom to cook healthy dinners that include Whole grains like brown rice and whole wheat pasta, veggies, lean meat like fish, chicken, beans, etc..

5.) Last and my Least favorite...=[

Moderation:

I would say you can eat as much of anything as you want...except carbs. Go crazy with the veggies and protein!!! But just stop eating when you are full.

Oh yeah, and just make sure if you are eating any kind of starch, or carbs, that you get Whole Grain..lots of people make the mistake of just getting Wheat, or White...Make sure to look for Whole under the ingredients.

And exercise!!!!

If you can't get outside, run in place or do jumping jacks while watching your favorite show. Do sit ups, push ups, anything. Go online and google exercises you could do. ALSO!, Always stretch. It's awesome for your body.

You are a little bit overweight. Don't stress over it, just make sure for health reasons to 1. exercise, 2. avoid pizza, fast food, sweets, and fried foods, chips, etc., 3. eat a lot of veg and lean meat., 4. eat some carb, like rice, pasta, cereals, everyday, but not in excessive quantities and not covered with sauce and fat. 5. don't drink coke, sodas with sugar, or alcohol.

Eat healthier food and exercise everyday... cut out all the sweets and replace with fruit.

your probaly fine!!! dont think your fat or anything! drink a lot of water a little bit of soda and excersise more!!and try to eat healthier!!!

You can eat healthy.
