I don't know where all of you have interviewed. I consider it bad form for the interviewer to not offer you something to drink.
And as for interviews only lasting a few minutes? Hogwash...at least in the real professional world. I interviewed with 3 people the other day and it lasted almost 4 hours.
Ergo my stance that it is rude for them not to offer...

Bring the bottle with you - but take a good drink of water BEFORE you get into the office. Put the bottle in your bag and LEAVE IT there. Have another drink after the interview ends.
I do not think its a good idea to drink anything during the interview. Except and unless the interviewer offers you a glass of water, then you can say yes.

NOT a good idea to bring anything to drink or eat to an interview. Drink a lot of water outside the location BEFORE you go in. If it gets really bad during the interview, ask the interviewer if there is a rest room you could use...there will usually be a water fountain right there. Even if there is no fountain, have a small paper cup in your pocket to drink water from the sink.

Well you never know just how the interviewer is. It may not be appropriate. I wouolsdn't suggest doing so. Not a good sign. Chewing gum also isn't a good idea. Maybe keep a mint in your mouth. Don't let it be seen though.
If you mouth gets so dry, I would drink a butt load of water before going in. Maybe you could keep a small piece of candy to have in your mouth. Just make sure the interviewer DOES NOT see it. Good luck my friend.

I think it would be ok!!!! I seen plenty of people holding their cell phones during an interview! Just tell them sorry for the bottle of water but i have a really dry mouth today! and smile when you say it! They should understand!

No, it will look stupid, no offense. Interviews never last longer than a few minutes anyway; take a few swigs before you go in and then all you want right after. You can pop in a Tictac too; they're small and will help with your dry mouth. Just don't crunch it, let it melt.

If you really want the job, do not do anything (including water bottle to interview) to give him a reason not to hire you. And believe me, they look for reasons not to hire a person.

Not okay, it is considered impolite and insult to the interviewer. Like you are doing your things and not respecting the situation. Even if you have to go to bathroom, you have to hold it.
If you are not ready, don't go for the interview.
