My partner and I are always looking for something different to do we dine out, dancing, entertain,BBQ's, love having our grand children over, from time to time our adult children bring friends over which we love, we have quite nights, go to bingo.Genuine replies thankyou

Why not take the whole gang bowling? It sounds corny, but it is a lot of fun when you have a good group of friends with you. If you are looking for new friends to socialize with, maybe the two of you could take a class together. Your local community center should have some interesting activities that you would like to do, and what better way to start a friendship than with a mutual interest?

If you like dinner parties, throw a theme night or game night or, something I like to do. Invite everyone over for a pot luck. Assign general food items to each guest like. "Ted will bring a vegetable, susan bring a meat, tony bring a bread item...so on and so on" But do not let anyone know what anyone else is bringing, so when everyone shows up you have to make up a dish with what ever was brought over. iTs fun and a great surprise to see what you end up with, worst case scenario you'll end up ordering pizza but you'll have fun trying to figure out what to make!

Board game night, karaoke, charades, go to a movie, rent a classic movie (you could even make it a theme night and dress up/have food that is appropriate)...hope some of these are helpful.
