Margaret(h)e, with or without an h, is the most common form of that name in German, but there is also Margaret(h)a. Shortened forms are Margret and Marg(r)it. Extremely popular in the Northern parts of Germany is the nickname "Gret(h)e". And even the old-fashioned "Gretel" is a shortening of Margarete.
