All week my boyfriend has been calling me, telling me how much he misses me and wants to see me. So naturally, I suggested we hang out this weekend. At first he ignored my idea, and changed the subject, which I found strange.
So I decided to give him a few days and bring it up later. Last night I called him, and once again he started telling me how much he missed me. So I told him, again, that we should hang out that weekend. This time he got all excited, promised he would see me, and even said he would come up that night.
Well, he never called me back, and he never showed up. All I got was a text message in the middle of the night telling me he was thinking of me. He hasn't called today, and I have a feeling he is going to break his promise.
Why would he lie to me and blow me off??

You need to find something else to do this weekend. You need to show your so called boyfriend that he ISN'T the most important thing in your life. Don't text him, don't call him, don't respond to his text, dont wait for his phone call, don't wait for his text - go find something to do. Go to the mall, go to the library, go get a new hair cut. Do ANYTHING - but DON'T WAIT on him for YOUR LIFE to have meaning!
You need to re-read what you just wrote as if your friend wrote it.....now what do you think? He isn't interested! Sorry!

Yes, to get to the bottome of this situration, I would need more information. How old is he? What country does he came from. How long have you been going together? He sounds like a nice guy. I'll give you some free advice; just put up with it, and I think you will be happy in the long run.

I'm sorry to say this but it sounds like he's with someone else. Ask him what's going on. The best thing to do is break up with him for a while and see if he comes back. If not then just move on. It'll be all right. Don't worry.

Maybe it's a guy thing. Perhaps he had plans to do something you would not like, such as pornography, or worse!
Maybe he's spending time with guys he does not want you to meet...or not yet.
If he texts you in the middle of the night, that's better than a kick in the head!

well. worst case, he could be cheating. but he may be busy with work or maybe he just cant come over right away for some reason. ive had simmilar experience with my dad. five years ago he said he was going to visit me. i talk to him on e-mail. but he says hes non-stop workin. he moved out of state so i nvr see him. anyway, just keep trying to get together with your bf, ask to go to lunch or watevr. if he continues this, tell him how you feel. that could change him.

i think he may be cheating on you or seeing somebody else. when someone feels guilty they try to make up for it by saying nice things to the person they are with "I miss you" but you need to pay closer attention to his actions and that he didnt call you but text you, meaning he was probably with another person at the time.

it sounds like he may have someone else besides u and he just doesnt know how to let u go so he may be waiting for u to break up wit him cause he is not man enough to tell u the truth so honey leave him he is not worth the headaches or drama....

do you guys live afar from each other? then he might have someone NEW in his life...& the reason he say she misses you is cause girls are sucka for sweet talkers & he tells you what you want to hear...you know what talk to him about this & tell him this is how you feel...if he still doesn't change then you blow him off...

He has someone else, so to throw you off the best thing to do is make it seem like everything is all good between yall. Break up with him.
