How do I save a Notepad file as batch.bat, because everytime I try to save, the options are 'all files' and 'text documents.' Thanks in advance!

save it as all files...in the file name put "batch.bat" as the file name. it'll be a .bat file than.

Save it as whatever.bat
on the bottom of the Save as window, for filetype, click the down arrow and select text

A text file is "ASCII" which is a line of text followed by a carriage return (Enter / Return)

rename it as batch.bat (of course you must have the show file extensions option enabled in folder options ) , or as the answer above select all files and then type batch.bat ... good luck ;-)
