I am always open to ideas so long as they are not required for me to learn them if I don't want to or want my children to be taught them.I think faith based teaching should always be a choice and never a requirement. And that choice should always exist outside of basic education such as in universities and other non general higher learning institutions.
But remember, opinions are like a**h***s.Everyone has one.

If something is based on faith it means that it either has no evidence or has evidence against it so I am not at all open to faith based teachings.
If the religious could present some evidence then I'd be open to it.
Atheism is just a result of looking at the world anyway.
As for the gender distribution, it has been found that females tend to be more religious than males but females tend to be less educated on average then males and when comparing males and females of the same level of education females are shown to be no more religious than equally educated males.

Open to hearing them, but it's been quite a long time since I heard anything that I haven't already considered.
(after more than a quarter-century of reading philosophy and theology, biology and physics: I'm old.)
In principle new data could change my world view.
But what I think now was not lightly arrived at, so it would take something quite substantial to justify such a major paradigm shift.
(Yay! I got "paradigm shift" into an answer without forcing it too much!)

I keep an open mind, but that does not include wasting time on nonsense. Faith without Logic is nothing at all.

We can believe absolutely anything through faith alone...I think that is quite dangerous for everybody.

faith is not enough for me. That's like settling on an answer that someone else found out. Believing is not know, I would rather know than believe.

Well...I'm alittle open to faith-based opinions, but for the most part I try to stray away from Christianity-related opinions. Most Christan's that I have spoken to are so aggressive and self-righteous. They drive me insane!

I prefer theory based teachings with evidence to back up those theories...they don't have to prove the theory is fact...just support the hypothesis....

It's very hard to be open, when I just don't believe that way. Listening to it is just sounds illogical and kinda nuts.
