I believe the average weight for someone with your stats is about 120lbs... I do not think you would have to go on a diet. The definition of "fat" really differs from individual I know at 16 a lot of girls have trouble spots where there seems to be some excess pounds (hips, bum, tummy...all the areas where fat is stored) Before going on a diet I would suggest talking to a trainer or your doctor and finding out what your body fat % is and just get a second opinion... Honestly diets at 16 I do not think are are great idea unless it is necessary. Perhaps you need a little more daily activity? Or all you may need is to tweek your current eating habbits or lifestyle a bit... Well, I am 110 pounds and I am 5 feet 1 inch. So you're a little underweight, but underweight is ok unless you are too much underweight.

I am the same height! I weigh 94lbs. You are normal, your BMI is 18.2 and that is not too bad being that your short in stature like me, you dont want to weigh too much. The range for normal is 18.5 to 24.9. even if you gained some you would be fine, but dont loose too much. But you are healthy weight.
