For the past 3 or 4 months I've been extremely tired, I get to the point where I'm nearly crying in school because I'm so tired. My work has been very poor this year as a result, I'm normally an honors student and get all A's, well I can definitely say I'm not getting all A's this year. I get really cold all the time, even when people around me say it's hot. Muscle/bone aches often, especially around the end of the day. Swollen lymph nodes most of the time. I went to the doctor about 2 1/2 months ago and he said I had an infection and gave me medicine which did nothing for me even though I took it as prescribed until it was gone. I lost my appetite for a month and didn't eat, lost weight, but my parents noticed and now I'm eating for them so I'm gaining back the weight, but I'm still not hungry so when I eat my stomach hurts. I don't really know what's going on because I know my body so well and this is just confusing me. I get dizzy randomly, or extremely weak. I'm not sure if this is

something to be really worried about because the symptoms are pretty average symptoms for many problems, but I've been thinking it might be leukemia. Should I go to the doctor's again?

I know you said you already saw the Dr and he gave you meds already and you seem to be feeling just as bad if not a little worse. You definitely need to see the doctor again. This time insist he do a full blood work up. If you do not trust this doctor to do a thorough check up, go see a hematologist / oncologist and have them do an examination with full blood work up. If your feeling worse and are not sure if you can wait to see the doctor, then go directly to the nearest emergency room. Explain to them all of your symptoms and how long you have been feeling this way. Again INSIST on a full blood work up!
Some cancers will easily detected and some might not show for 6 months to a year. But early detection is the key to knowing and treating. Weather it's cancer or something else. You know your body best!
Good luck!

that definitely could be leukemia. My brother, who was diagnosed with leukemia in may had been experiencing all of those symptoms, along with easy bruising, and increased thirst. After about three weeks of that, we finally took him to the doctors. The best thing to do in your situation is to go to the doctors and explain your symptoms. They'd probably do a blood test or something. Best of luck!

It wouldn't hurt to see the doctor again. It could be a thyroid problem also, which can cause fatigue, feeling cold, appetite problems... weight loss or gain. A simple blood test can detect thyroid problems
