There is this guy at my school who use to like me but doesnt anymore. I dont know why, but hes spreading lies about me around the WHOLE school and its so embarrassing! People actually believe him! He's even being a jerk to all of my friends! Acting like i dont care is not helping... and i want to get back at him BIG. Any ideas?

If you get back at him it may just make matters worse in the long run. Talk to a teacher or principal and then sit back and act as if you had nothing to do with that and it will be just as much revenge and ruin his standing with everyone else probably forever

This happens to every girl. No one will remember tomorrow, and if they do it's bc their life sux too. And no one really believes the gossip in HS anyway. But the best thing is just to roll with it. See, the John guy is jealous of your relationship with Tyler. Even though he knows the two of you are just friends, he's going to make that work against you either way. Embarrass you for having a guy friend and make it something it's not. So what I would do is get Tyler in on it and pretend to be dating for a bit and I mean really pretend. Just be like "Yeah, it was so good we decided to get together!". That'll really pi$$ him off, bc then it's like the rumor that HE started came TRUE. Exactly what he doesn't want. He was trying to go for the opposite reaction -you to diss Tyler because you were embarrassed. But because there is actually no reason for you to be mad at Tyler, the only sensible other thing is to "hook up" with him. I mean, what do ppl really know anyway? Pretend for a few days/weeks and then everything back to normal. What's really funny is, once you get a boyfriend, John has no reason to come around or start any more crap. He'll be too bummed his plan didn't work and too bummed that ppl keep coming up to him saying, "Can you believe ___ and Tyler got together? I mean, right after you guys broke up! I wonder what started that?" LOL

revenge is never the way to go. instead of pretending accually dont care what he says. obviously if he is low enough to go a spreading things about you then you dont want to sink to his level. trust me you will come out looking the best in the end.
