Confucius and a load of other people said it before Jesus was even a twinkle in his father's eye.

I Jesus said that. I do not know anything about
Confucius because I get confused with him.
Who said: I am the bread of life. I am the living bread, and he who drinks my blood eat my flesh shall live eternally?
Only Jesus, He is the One. Listen to Him.

Confucius said it circa 550 BC. Jesus said much the same perhaps 570 years later. One can debate whetther either man actually lived, but the saying was in China long before it was in Judaea.

Actually, it is the summed up total of the 10 commandments besides loving Jehovah, your God with your whole heart and soul. This is how Jesus answered the Jewish clergy when they tried to trick him into a sin by putting one commandment above another.

Confucius. But Jesus used it positively, meaning "Do unto others..." not "Do NOT do..."

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." I believe that is what Jesus said.
I'm not sure who said it first but they were both coming from the right direction.
