If Christianity was proved without a doubt, I would believe that such a deity, etc. would and does exist. Would I follow it? Not likely....I'd rather do good works because it's the right thing to do than to do it for Heaven points or such nonsense....I would not follow or worship a being that liked slavery and the pillaging of villages, and had animal and even a human sacrifice to erase the sins of the world. I would not follow such a deity. Believe that it exists, sure, but not follow or worship.
Hope this helps.

That would be dumb if someone totally would not follow it even though it was proven somehow true.
I believe in God and Jesus as Savior and I don't need anyone to prove it to me because I know in my spirit it's true!
I have heard and I'm pretty sure it's in the Bible but don't guarantee it; I know it's in the book "A Case for Faith," that people start out with open hearts/spirits, willing to accept God but as they grow older their hearts slowly grow hard and if you try to tell them anything about God even if you give many reasons why it makes sense for it to be true or even if you presented them somehow with real live proof (a miracle for instance) they wouldn't believe or turn to follow God.
It's not always the case but if you are to try to change the views of someone who is older it is much more difficult because they have already decided what is true for them and are less open to other things.

I agree, as I told Dad when I was age 11 or 12. It is a hateful religion, and its heaven is not a place many intelligent men want to go, even if it did exist. I accept the truth of many ideas I do not like. In this case, I would not folllow Christianity, even if it was true. It is so infantile that it cannot be true, fortunately.

How a lot examine did you rather do till now asking that? #a million Buddhists are not coming to my door asserting "have self assurance what i've got self assurance" #2, why is it maximum christians assume we are atheist because of the fact we don't want to be to blame for something? have you ever no longer heard human beings say "god made me do it" in some style (usually its "god worked via me" or some bs like that). #3, atheists comprehend there is not any god. damn troll. Edit in reaction on your additions. You teach atheists are hateful and deluted with merely one person as an occasion? if so you assume guilt by utilising affiliation. although while you're no longer prepared on being shown incorrect via good judgment, have you ever heard of Fred phelps? never have i met a extra hateful person and wager what, he's christian.

That would be a very big "IF".... but if it was true, sure I'd follow it. I'd be an *** if I didn't.
So.... I wonder why the Christians of today aren't as sensible and are still following Christianity.....? It certainly hasn't be proven 100% true, it hasn't even show itself to be 1% true, and yet it's had more than 2000 years to do it. Why are they being such buttwhipes.

Agree. Because that god is the most immature, megalomanical being ever described. He sets his creation up for failure, requires that innocent animals be slaughtered for the remission of sins, then, like any good psychopath, he moves up to human sacrifice. He kills small children for laughing at a bald man's head.. he orders the genocide of several peoples, including children, livestock and trees. I'd rather suffer eternal torment than worship that thing.
Thankfully, it'll never be proven true, and hopefully, more and more people will evolve spiritually, mentally and emotionally past that kind of thing.

i honestly would rather roast in hell than spend eternity with a bunch of absolute loons! how can you even contemplate the existance of a god based upon the story of a girl accepting a magical fruit from a magical tree from a talking snake?
How can you further imply that everything in this book of fairytales is true and without error based upon the continued story that your god suffered such an existential meltdown over the girl eating the fruit that he cursed all of creation over it, and then, he got some poor ignorant Jewish girl pregnant and did not have the decency to marry her but rather pawned her off on an old guy named Joseph. And, christians claim that this bit of premarital sex was ok because god put himself in a meat sack to be born in order to sacrifice himself to himself in order to protect us from himself--and as I asked before, this all is about the garden thing? how immature for a creator to have that attitude with his children--create them and then curse and kill them all in the same day they come into being!
In answer to your question, no, I would not follow this line of crap based on the murderous histories of the christian and muslim religions.

Proved true? Its impossible.
The Bible itself says that in Order to believe in Christ, then Faith is involved... Hebrews 11:1 says exactly what that entails.
But if people are reasonable they will see that the other religions and crazy beliefs in the world have no basis.

Honestly, the whole goal of Christianity is to get to heaven. I've always thought heaven would get a bit boring after a while, eternal bliss and happiness? *yawn* I already try and kill myself after a minute of 'High school musical!' SO the answer to your question is no I wouldn't follow it.
