Getting a puppy should never be a rushed decision. You must consider the breed and if it's a good fit for your lifestyle. Pomeranian and Poodle/Schnauzer mixes are vastly different in personality and temperament. You need to explore the requirements of these dogs and ensure you are willing and able to provide the dog with it's basic needs including veterinary care.
Before buying a dog from a breeder, find a breed rescue or local animal shelter. There are hundreds of dogs needing homes....

i always say try your local ASPCA. they sometimes have these breeds and you are doing something good for animals. otherwise I would try a rescue site. I think we should always be on the lookout to do what we can to help animals out. no one is their advocate so we have to. BTW....my friend has a schnoodle...they are soooooo smart and wonderful pets....hers was ringing a bell within 6 wks whenever she had to go potty and she was just a pup. i was amazed...also not a small dog fan myself, this little thing acts like a big dog but so affectionate....much preferred over a yappy pom IMO. good luck!!

my advise would be DO NOT get a puppy from a pet shop, you are asking for trouble cause that puppy will more than likely have serious health issues, I would look at you local shelter to see if they have anything that you are looking for,, Also you can look at www.craigslist.org,,, www.puppyfind.com www.petfinder.com and make sure if you buy from a breeder to ask lots of questions and make sure if you buy off the internet to get that breeder to take a picture of the puppy that you and the breeder would only know what is in the picture, that way you are for sure you are not getting scammed,
I hope this has helped and good luck in finding a cute healthy puppy of your dreams

Try your local rescue and shelter. Don't pay more than an adoption fee for a mixed breed dog.
