my neighbors cat comes into my house cuz i feed it and she like loves me to death. all cats do. its really weird. even cats that hate people. i feed the cat chicken. lol. my mom doesnt like that. but i dont like her chicken. its boring. she makes it all the time.
you should move some where else or just hang out with the cat.

As long as you're not letting it in the house, you're not breaking the house rules. You don't say what part of the country you live in, so I don't know what your winter weather is like. But I do know that I live in eastern Massachusetts where the winters are hard, and there are several cats in my neighborhood that prefer to live out of doors - even during the winter. If you're concerned about the cat staying warm enough, perhaps you could find someplace nearby that's hidden from view (cats love that) and create a sheltered space for him/her to get out of the weather. If there's space beneath an overturned boat, box, barrel, beneath a hedge, behind a garage, in an alley, whatever, the cat can have a small "cave" there. Just put in a pile of leaves and maybe an old tee shirt or sweater for it to sleep on and (if its tame enough for you to handle/carry it) show it where you've made the shelter. I have a deck box that straddles a window well at the side of my house; one of the cats likes to "camp out" under the deck box in the window well - where I've raked in a lot of leaves and thrown a couple of old sweaters. Don't forget, this cat seems to be used to living outside (not very domestic) and cats lived outside long before we humans domesticated them - if you can ever really domesticate a cat. :0) Of course, if it's possible for you to catch the cat and take it to a vet, it would be wise to have it spayed/neutered so there's not more little cats looking for homes. There's a group called Friends of Animals that's listed in the phone Yellow Pages which can provide you with a low-cost spay/neuter certificate; and in some towns, there are local "rescue" groups that will foot the bill to spay/neuter stray animals if you contact them.

I guess I would probably keep feeding it till I got caught! Then if I got caught I would explain to them why the cat was there and you coul d not help yourself but feed the poor thing and if the cat is not bothering anyone and certainly would keep the mice down in the area then why not let her stick around! If they say no way then I guess you would have not choice then to catch it and try to give it to a friend. I would really hate for you to have to give it to the human society because they always have too many of them.
so... when you get caught maybe they will make an exception since the cat is outside and does not bother anyone.

Well done!! being nice to the cat and they are my favourite too. She might belong to someone else nearby and just loves to visit and be fed and patted but if you think she belongs to no-one then that cat thinks she belongs to you so have her in more often and overnight sometimes and adopt her as your own. If you take her to the Humane Society she might not be adopted by someone at all. Maybe you need a cat door on your apartment so she can come and go as she likes. Can you talk to the building manager about changing the rules re pets???

I think the best thing to do is to first respect the laws. If you can still keep feeding it, it will realize that you are its friend and you will not have to keep the cat and break the rules but you can still feed it and play with it when it comes!!!!!!!!!

stop feeding it, adventualy it will go away. You chould also always give it to one of your frienddds,so that way you know its going to a good home.If you have no friends that need a cat, try calling the humine society. They willl pick it up and ake it to the shelter, see if its being fed, and seeing if it needs any medication, or medicine. After a year i know it can be hard to get rid of it,but just do whats best for it.
â¥i hopee thiss helps

Try to find it a new home...perhaps a rescue group can take it. Living outside is no life for a cat. They are exposed to all sorts of horrible things. Please consider taking it to a shelter, or finding a rescue group to rehome it. It will thank you when it's sitting in a warm window with food, water, and love in strong supply.

Well you wont be able to get rid of it easily since you fed it but you did the right thing.. call an anti kill shelter or put an add on Gumtree and give her away if you cant keep it.

If it's already been there for a year and a half and no one has noticed what would be the point of doing anything?
