Does the 58mm 850nm Infrared Pass IR XRAY X-Ray Filter Sony DSC work on any other cameras?

I have a canon 350d and need an infrared filter for it. Will the 850nm Infrared Pass IR XRAY X-Ray Filter Sony DSC work on it?

First, you need to be certain your camera is IR capable. The easiest way is by pointing a TV remote at the camera and if you see a red dot on your image or viewscreen then your camera is IR capable. If you don't see the red dot then your camera has an IR filter installed in front of the sensor. This filter can be removed by a professional camera service tech but then your camera will be IR capable only.

Any filter made for IR photography will work.
