My personal opinion is that none of them is "best." They all do their jobs without anybody even knowing about it.
And I'd rather have any one of them standing next to me in a fight than across from me.

Much of it is marketing. Most units around the world will Cross train in something. It may be one seminar or a series of seminars. So the Organizations that do these classes then say we've trained the Marines. In reality the Marines train in MCMAP but some units may take Krav Maga seminars. They may also take a Gracie Combatives course as well. I live in NJ and the local IKMA is a state certified police training facility that regulary holds Law Enforcement classes. Their website features commendations for the training from the State Troopers, FBI etc etc. That said I also know of a Jiu jitsu instructor who is also a certified Law enforment trainer in NJ. So both can say that what they teach is used by NJ law enforcement. What they leave out i that their systems are not used exclusively or that preference by department may dictate their core training. So does the Military or Law enforcement in the US train exclusively in Krav? No. Have departments or divisions within these agencies trained in Krav at some point either one time or ongoing. Yes. Do individuals in these agencies use it as their core? Possibly. There are few if any Govt or local agencies anywhere outside of Israel that use Krav as their Core. Not because it isn't a great system, but b/c most have already developed similar systems of training over time. Combat sambo/Systema, MCMAP, Army combatives, Sanda etc etc. I think everyone takes a peek at what the other guy is doing and even trains in it a bit to incorporate into their system, not to replace it. How interesting would it be if the Arabs did train in Krav! LOL!!! Did hell get Chilly? Actually, Anyone know what they do train in?

- British SAS (the originals, Delta Force was based on this unit)
- United States Delta Force (in my opinion the best Special Operations unit in the world)
- United States DEVGRU (originally SEAL Team Six; the very best operators from the Navy SEALs)
- FBI Hostage Rescue Team (basically a Delta Force clone but for homeland security)
The Navy SEALs aren't even comparable to these units. Wikipedia them to find out more info. Hope this helps.

I would always say SAS not just due to recent events but they are proven to be the best of the best. There are so many things that they are involved in that the public will never hear about and they do not go public with much which is why they are so renowned.

The SBS are better than the SAS
The SBS have all the skills of the SAS plus they also specialises in special operations at sea, along coastlines and on river networks.

The first ones that any of our allies ask for and the last ones any of our enemies want to come up against, who dares wins dude, it's got to be the S.A.S.

In my opinion any British Forces unit is the best, if only because each and every one of them are volunteers. Please remember each and every one of them tomorrow on "Remembrance Day" that never came home, also their families that are left behind.
Here's to every one of them.
