Hi, Me & my cousin were thinking about fundraising for a charity. We are going to sell eiffel bon bons. We are only 12. We were thinking about setting up a stand at a downtown.
Should we do it
Any ideas?

If you can get the store to sell it for you for free, (perhaps have some of the candy at each checkout) sure! Some might because it's for charity and some may not. If you're going the store route, only get people who will stick it in their stores for free to do it, you're only 12 and you probably still have some of that little kid cuteness and it IS for a charity so you have an advantage. LOL, Just go to the manager and ask them if you can, I think most will say yes. Convenience stores would be good for this, they have high traffic and people buy junk food from them all of the time. You'll probably sell the most with a combination of this and perhaps putting up a stand on weekends, (or whatever day you're available.) When people come and buy them from your stand be sure to tell them where they can find more. (At the stores you have them stationed at.) Good job and good luck. ^_^

A parent needs to call the city and make sure it's okay for you and your cousin to set up a stand downtown to sell somethiing, eiffel bon bons or otherwise. You also will need adult supervision of your stand, as two 12-year-old-girls taking in money as they sell things would be easy targets for not-so-nice people. Finally, you need to have the name of the charity that is going to receive the funds prominently displayed at your stand, and be able to say exactly when and how the charity will be receiving these funds -- otherwise, people may wonder if the money they give you is *really* going to go to the charity.
