1.) Competition, in a club, most singles (especially single guys) are looking for someone to talk to/get with. Guys to take their girl to the club find that disrespectful because sometimes a guy will approach his girl in front of him w/o knowing she's there with somebody.

2.) Because a lot of guys tend to be di**heads when they approach a girl, using cheesy pickup lines at times.

But it's mainly reason number one. I'm a guy and I totally see this like all the time.

I'm not a guy, but I think the distinction between a "club" and a "bar" is an artificial one. If there is a flirting environment, some guys just get tacky, even if she's clearly with someone else. And some girls like it, so they take their chances.

Personally, I think if you really like her, take her to dinner (where you can talk) and a movie or other show. Make it just the two of you, so you can pay attention to each other.

guys go to clubs to try and "hook up" with girls... not for ANY other reason... If we already have a girl there's no reason to go to the club.

I would take her to either if that's where she wanted to go, but rather her as my wife not to go in either alone with-out me.
