I'm looking for a non denominational place of worship that would welcome my daughter and I(we are african american)..preferably a spirit filled church thats very friendly.

One place to look would be in Yahoo's (TM) yellow pages for either or both of the cities. The catch is that sometimes the newer places won't be listed: just like the phone book that won't list you if you move in after the book's published!
Another would be www.anywho.com, where you could look up churches, assuming that there is a phone number.
Finally, the Southern Baptist convention has a website listing churches (SBC only, as one might guess) for the cities. One of the pastors might be able to direct you to what you're looking for.
