So I liked this guy for a long time, yet i just moved recently. He talked to my friend saying that he tried to call/email me but there was no answer (my email's crappy) so i talked to him and we talked for like 20 minutes on the phone. he said he wants to hang out with me soon and that i should come back to my old town. this was a couple weeks ago, and i dont know if i should call him again, cause i know he'll forget to call me. this guy is really sweet and funny but i dont know if i should still like him because there is such a long distance between us- and that would only hurt me in the end, right? plus, i like some kids in my new school, but i dont know and im really confused..help!!! thanks!!!

You have moved...and you like some kids in your new school, go with it. Being young is all about enjoying your life and having new experiences, it is not the time to be stuck on one person. Move on and experience things before you start getting serious about any one.

A LDR takes a lot of work. I've been in one for 4 years now, he is in Germany and i'm in California. They take a lot of communication, trust and honesty if BOTH of you can do that then you are off to a good start. Age is not a big issue i started dating my bf at 16. Even though age is not important (to me) a LDR does take a level of maturity. Since you are already saying that you like SOME kids in your new school, it could be that you are not ready to start a serious relationship. LDR are really hard work. It is not necissarly true that you will get hurt if you start a LDR because as i said before i've been in one for 4 years and we are really happy. Basically it is up to you and and the guy to see if you can keep it up and if it is something that you want. Good luck, hope that i helped. Let me know if you have anymore questions :)

Even though he sounds like a really nice guy. You should just be friends because in the end it won't work out, and you will get your heart broken. Try and find guys that are in your hometown.
