While walking home yesterday an odd little puppy followed me home the odd thing is that she is only about 9weeks old and has DUCT TAPE around his muzzle. I brought him to the vet to remove the duct tape and since he was dirty and skinny I fed him and gave him a bath. since he was so gentle my parents let me keep him. Later I was when I was on the computer I read about dog fighting and how they would use puppies and small dogs as bait. Now I think there might be illegal dog fighting in my neighborhood. If I am seen with their bait that got away they might track my house down. The reason they might do this is because they might get caught they might think that I somehow got him and took him away which reveals that I know where they are.

Like i said dont think about the hair dye. Just watch out for your new puppy. Those people will not come looking for the dog becasue they know they are doing something illegal and they will know that you know. You do need to report it however if you have suspicions. its a terrible thing dog fighting. SO ILLEGAL. You could get in trouble for knowing about it and not saying anything

Well first of all, if they are fighting dogs, you would hear it. Second, the chances are probably greater that the pup's muzzle was taped to stop the puppy from making noise... which is abuse in its highest form.

Take the dog to the vet, get the needed vaccines and wormings done, get pup neutered and enjoy the dog.

Should you find a fighting ring, report it to local animal and police authorities immediately. Fighting = cruelty and gamling and both are illegal.

Sounds like you've been thinking way too much! People that fight dogs and use other dogs as bait aren't really connected to the bait dog they could really care less. You sound so cautious that I really don't think you could steal a dog an I sure they would think the same.

Sweetie, don't worry about it.

If someone comes after that dog, You tell them it's yours. Go register the dog and get a license. Micro chip it.

No one is going to come for it. Just don't walk the dog. If anyone asks, you found it blocks away or got it from a shelter.

If this was a bait dog, there's more of them. They won't miss this one. You need to report the activity. That's the most important thing.

Don't worry about this. If they are this sort of people, they simply won't care about one that got away. Probably not even remember it. You can always deny it and involve the police if need be, for it is them that are in the wrong here.

In the meantime, give that puppy a lot of love, and raise it in a wonderful loving home. Thank God you found him/her and spared him/her what could be a horrible fate. Praise be.

You sound like you are a little too paranoid.. I think they are the ones doing something illegal, they would be more afraid of you knowing where they are, then they would be worried about you having their bait.
