How many oz in a lb? How many slices of bacon in a pound? According to the chief there are about 20 slices of bacon per pound. If they were sliced in a deli from a slab of bacon there would be 16 or less slices per pound.

1 slice of bacon = 1 oz. meat
If you're doing diabetic exchanges, count 1 slice as 1 meat + 1 fat serving.
