you could try singing all kinds of things, dont think about it too much just do it as it will be feelings that make the music more than thoughts. then when you have come up with some bits that you like you can maybe think about how to put them together into a song. the best things ive written on guitar, for example, have just happened by becoming absorbed in the feel of the thing. its like kissing (to be polite), good ones are instinctive and sensual, you just do what feels right, rather than performing a mental analysis of what you are doing! haha. though as i said can of course add your thoughts in too. i suppose what im saying is, feel it, brother! haha. or sister.

you can't just sit down and decide to write a piece of music. When you feel good or down about something that's when you can write a song. The best technique to use to write them is to write from your heart, your true feelings and write the 100% truth and reality.

There's no easy way to answer this question. It depends on what type of song you want to write.
Listen to a lot of your favourite songs and get an idea of the form, for example "verse, chorus, verse chorus, instrumental, chorus, verse, chorus...etc."
And either you work it out mathematically (a way preffered by men who write audiably please songs) or with talent (a way mainly used by women, due to their better sense of hearing and artisting ability).
That's all I can really say dude, either you have the talent and you learn to write it down (or get someone else to), or you don't have talent and you spend years learning how musical terminology works and how it works mathematically.

i write songs myself and i'll give u my advice if u want it!
ok first you cant just sit down and write a song like that. its not that easy. my songs are about my life ( and my best friends cuz i write them with her. we sort of have a band). ok im going to put this ina cheesy way but, songs will come to you, you cant force them to come to you! ive wrote songs that i just made up but i just sat down and forced one to come to me. trust me its alot easier if you just let them come to you. ive noticed that out of the 14 songs that ive wrote, the ones that i let come to me were a lot better. ok thats all im going to say. hope i helped ya enough. good luck with the song writing

start with an idea (obviously)
get a rhyming dictionary (they are online)
keep a little notepad with you at all times & write things down so you don't forget them.
