No medicine?

Do you have access to a sauna? The air in a sauna is so hot that it may even kill the virus causing your cold. Not reliably, but it can. And it can make breathing easier even if it doesn't.

Then there is the netti pot you use to rinse out your nose and sinuses with saline.

Standing in a hot steamy shower might help clear your nose. Or concentrate the steam by breathing the steam from a boiling pot of water. With a towel or something over your head so the steam doesn't escape.

But if you are already taking medicine, I have to mention that decongestant nasal sprays or nose drops are great for clearing your nose. Most of the sprays out there last 12 hours.

I hope something works. I hate when that happens.

Boil some water, place it in a large bowl... let it sit for a minute or two, then place your head over the bowl with a towel around you and the bowl so the steam doesnt let out. Just beeathe in through your nasal passages... it will help decongest your passages. Do this 3 or 4 times a day.
