I went out with a co-worker of sorts last night. He asked me three days ago if I would like to see a movie. Many people as friends go out along with each other so I didn't think much of it until the next day he comes up to me while i'm with another co worker and asks if we are still on for our "date." I awkwardly paused and said yes because I didn't want to make a big deal about it. We went to the movie and he talked about his exes and then talked about his booty calls and then said, "I don't date people from work" quite abruptly during dinner, which he paid. We were then walking and he asked what I thought about another co-worker, a male and then said that another one liked me very much, just like him and when I asked him what he meant, "he said, we both have a thing for chocolate women..." it ended...as he dropped me to my car. What was that?

Well, I always thought that the "rules" said that if he pays, it is a date. But this guy sounds trippy. And, I'm not a fan of his racially insensitive comment.

it was definatly a date. you should be more vigilant at noticing something like that or at least ask him if her thinks its a date, or you might end up beig someones girlfriend without realizing it.

It was a date, but he's socially inept, so it was a bad date.

it was a date, and he likes you but he seems kind of weird so you might want to pass.
