Does anyone know what the drug policy is for Employment as a Police officer with the Milwaukee PD?

No, I don't due drugs; however, I have experimented with a few different types, and the most recent event was seven years ago. I just found out through the Dallas Department recruitment seminar that their policy on experimental use with LSD, and MMDA(Ecstasy) is ten years since last use before you can apply. Does Milwaukee have a similar policy? I did Acid in high school but that was almost 15 years ago, and I tried "X", in 2000, so 7 almost 8 years ago.

Does MPD have a similar policy? I'm totally open to talk about the times I tried them...I didn't like it and drugs just aren't my thing...

I'm looking for real answer on here, because I just did the written last week, and really want to move forward with the Police department. Please no speculations on the matter. So if any one has experience in the hiring of police officer, it would be really appreciated.

Thanks.

Like I said I don't use drugs, I'm not concerned about any drug test. I can pee all day it doesn't matter to me. What I'm concerned with is the fact that I did experiment with drugs in the past, and the amount of time since then(which has been 7 years).

All depends on dept, some people have had to sue some police dept to get on just for marijuana use. You sound very honest about it which is probably a good thing. I also notice your avatar is a black dude. Honestly that will probably help you out. Minorities have a much easier time getting on the police and fire dept. Waiting list for me for fire dept was 7 years, minorities get on right away so you got that going for you along with your honestly and a long time without drug use.

relies upon on the "conviction"; likely you will fail to qualify, due on your lack of ability to write the English language properly ! I (capital), notice (not applie), their ( not there ), and an entire loss of punctuation !
