Saw my back in the mirror?

In this dream I had last night, I had bought this maroon dress for a semi-formal dance I was going to. But when I put it on and looked in the mirror, the dress had changed color and style, it was beige/tan in the mirror and made of corderoy and had an overall top. Now, I think I get what that means, but what I can't figure is...I turned around and was looking at my back in the mirror. The back of the dress was low-cut, and my bra strap was showing, and I remember wondering how on earth I was going to hide the bra band. I don't quite understand that part. I know looking in the mirror is often the reflection of how you see yourself, but what does seeing my back, with my bra showing mean?

Are you ashamed of something? Seeming too country instead of romantic for instance? If that's what it is, you may be telling yourself that you can't hide who you are, and it's easier to just let your "bra" show anyway.
It definitely seems to be a symbol of shame to you though, since you were trying to figure out how to hide it.
