Both my parents and all my uncles and aunts have died yet I know they are as asleep just as Jesus said regarding his friend, Lazarus. Knowing he was dead, he said Lazarus was sleeping. Knowing nothing, without conscious thought.

The Bible is what is the authority, not any religion. Psalms 146:4 and Eccles. 9:5, 10 show the dead have no memory, no thoughts, no jealousy, there is no work able to be done. As Acts 24:15 shows, the dead await a future resurrection promised by God.

Well, after u pass away, u have your soul in the grave. Then these two angels will question you about God, if you prayed etc. You can't lie, God knows all. Anyway, then your soul is taken to the seven heavens. If you were a good person, your soul will smell of musk and it will be a beautiful soul. The angels in the higher heavens will ask "who's son/daughter was this?" This gives credit to the parents, as the angel will reply for you.. One of the higher heavens (hopefully the seventh) will take you. If u were a bad person, your soul will reek horribly and no one will want ur soul. Then all souls are storaged in these heavens. Those people who owe people money, commited suicide etc, will be in this place called a waiting room where they will neither be in heaven or hell. Then the day of judgment comes everyone is resurrected and God will read out your book of deeds to you. Then if u get ur book in ur right hand, u will go to heaven. If in ur left, u will go to hell. There's a lot more that i didn't explain but i hope i provided suffecient enough answers. All this is stated in the Quran and books called Death and Dying/ Death, Life and the LIfe after. I strongly reccomend them. Good bye and may Allah bless you for not being ignorant and being open minded.

Take care,
Nazeehah

The Bible tells us that there is not only life after death, but eternal life so glorious that “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9). Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, came to the earth to give us this gift of eternal life. “He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).

Why worry about death when you have life! We are taught to be afraid of death and even to fear it, but it is a fact of life, death comes to us all whether we want it or not! Acceptance is the key to a good life and looking forward to a death knowing you did the best when you were here!
